The Youth Arts Festival is a free annual event filled with family friendly entertainment and several booths providing hands on arts and crafts. This festival is supported by the City of Mount Vernon and many of the local businesses and organizations within the Skagit Valley.

I had the absolute privilege of doing live painting demonstrations for those who attended and talking about creating art, color theory, and paint with kids and adults alike.

AVA Student Art Show

The AVA Student Art Show is a capstone exhibition for all visual art students at Skagit Valley College. I wanted this show to be focused on highlighting growth and process. I created a timeline represented by a red yarn that allowed visitors to see how much I had grown while attending Skagit Valley College.
